I have bought a 1969 Plymouth RR parts car pictured in my photo gallery and a 1970 RR that I plan to restore upon my return from deployment. My problem is I am still deployed and I have been trying to get these cars transported from Wilmington, DE. and Sanford, MI. Everytime I try scheduling with as many transport companies they say we'll take care of your transport from these places to my place in Spanaway, WA. I fill out the online portion of the order even with contact person's address and phone numbers and then nothing. I have the money to pay for they're services and then nothing is done. I feel like they are a bunch of liars or scammers and BSers. I would really appreciate it if someone can help me in getting these Roadrunners transported to my place in Spanaway, WA. I have the money and I'm willing to pay as much as $2,200 to have these Roadrunners in my driveway before I arrive from my deployment around 27 June. Please reply here on this thread for any help or advice. Tired of trying to deal with these transport companies and nothing is done. I guess they don't get my business.

Have you talked to Reliable Transport, maybe call them or have someone here in the states call for you, tell them the circumstances, they are reputable but aren't cheap but are competitively priced... Doing this type of thing over the Internet, is kind of iffy at best on both parts, could have consequences for the haulers, lots of scammers out there...

Thanks Budnicks and so far I have Roadangels Transport picking up the 70 RR in Wilmington, Delaware for $1,575. The 69 RR parts car I guess I'll just have to get me a plane ticket to Sanford, Michigan and rent a uhaul and transport it myself sometime in 21 of July when I take 30 days leave. I'm hoping it's not going to be as expensive as transport are charging for the 2000+ miles to Spanaway, Washington. I think I might take truck if it's cheaper than ticket purchase and renting a uhaul plus trailer or drive my pick-up truck there, rent a uhaul out of state trailer only and transport back home if thats the cheapest. Hopefully gas is not as expensive as Washington's gas prices.

Yep $4.00 a gallon for 4000 miles @ 10mpg is 400 gallons = $1600 + hotels + food + one way trailer & truck rental... sounds pretty pricey, is the parts car worth that ?? How come the transporter co. won't haul the parts car ?? you could have saved on fuel cost, you would think anyway, hauling 2 instead on 1... Just my thoughts

Try calling this guy, his name is Tony, he's local to me and not far from Sanford, MI. 586-206-3286. Tell him Matt gave you his number.

are they both mobile under their own power. thats the kicker if not. they don't want the hassel of loading if they don't run and if they do take the effort it won't be cheap. here's a shot in the dark. look for a flat bed out of wa. looking for something home. around here i can rent a small crane for about a 100.00$ for an hour to load it. but it turns into logistics again. if they were both sitting in one place would help also. when you get home get the 1 from de. to mi. and you will have a better chance. if you are with them you can arrange the tow truck for loading on a car trailer.
i have some # for a guy out of ca. that treated me fair on one from san fran to mi., but that would be a back haul for him to get to the motor city. you never know. i will pm the # to you and see what happens. good luck.

I tried and the person I bought the parts car from said that the whole steering column is out but comes with the car and can't be steered unto the transport truck. I need to get back in contact with him and see how I can get this done.

Oh THANK YOU so much Matt and the guy's name that I bought the parts car from is a Mr. James Hagen. Really Nice and honest guy. He said he's getting rid of some of his Mopars because he's getting old and can't seem to be able to take care of them. Very knowledgeable with Mopars I think.

you are in a pickle. it can be put on a trailer but not a big multi car one. a 1 or 2 car one it can be winched on with someone walking beside guideing the steer tires by hand, or lift it on.

p.m. sent;

Thanks so much Matt and everbody here.

Just contacted Tony and text him mine and Mr Hagen's contact info and said he'll contact Mr Hagen and he'll transport and hold the 69 RR parts car at his place and transport it when after the 4th of July to my place here in Spanaway, WA.
