Roanoke Indiana car show.

It's first year and there was about 300 cars. As said before they slotted me beside Tom Hoovers Ball stud HEMI. The car was one of Sox &Martin's... Really cool story about the the two guys in front of the HEMI Coronet 500. The older guy ordered the car new in '66 then was shipped off to Vietnam and the family sold the car to an older couple. The guy who bought it died about 6 months after and the widow put the car in an old shop. The younger guy heard about the car and bought it from the widow. He and his brother restored the car. These two guys had never met before yesterday. When the older guy was looking through the binder of the restoration he noticed the front license plate and about had a heart attack. It was his car! It was unbelievable to watch these two guys go through the story's. before the show was over the old guy ran home, they both live within about a 1/2 hour from Roanoke in opposite directions, and got all the orig. order paperwork and the orig build sheet he signed at the dealer and gave them to the the young guy. Unbelievable!!!!!

Oh, and the town council of Roanoke awarded me a plaque as their favorite car. Yay, the government liked me....

At least the car got something it's first time out. .

Here are a few of the cars. Most of the rest were exotics, chebbys, and fords.
