Just heard that one of the all time great Rock and Roll bands will be coming to Vancouver in March, Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band. Gonna have to make the trip to see that. It'll be my 3rd time.
:headbang:

Saw him a few times in the old days, best was in 1976 at Cobo (had a friend who's dad worked at cobo and would get us tickets for all the best concerts) they recorded most of the Live Bullet album then.
Also Chris Campbell (Bass Guitar) is a huge Mopar fan, has a real 68 HEMI Dart and many others, and owns property around Plymouth MI where he grew up, I also went to Columbus, OH for the Mopar nationals with him and a bunch of other guys in the mid 80,s.
Great times and great rock and roll.

That's awesome. I always thought Chris Campbell was a great bass player, and to know he's a Mopar guy, nice! Gotta wonder if Seger's voice is holding up, Last time I saw him here, he was sounding slightly worn. Don't matter tho, great Rock & Roll. Joe Walsh is touring with them too.

Heard allot of talk about his voice starting to go a few years ago, I haven't heard him in concert in over 20 years but I sure would like to.
I met Campbell through the guy who originally painted my GTX, the shop he was in at the time was owned by Campbell and he was restoring a couple of his cars.
We took one of his cars for a ride one night to a local cruise spot (64 or 65 Polara convertible 413 auto fresh restoration) I didn't get to drive it but we had allot of fun.

We went to the Seger concert in 2011 here in Baltimore and it was a great show. His voice is still great and the Silver Bullet Band is as good as you will get. Alto Reed on the sax, Don Brewer on the drums, and the Motor City Horns, just an unbelievable concert. We plan on going to see him again this year, hopefully he will hit the East coast later in the year.

I was lucky enough to get to see him twice last year, and he still rocks the house. If he come anywhere near again this year I will be there!

I like a lot of Bobs music, Turn the page my favorite though!
