Saw this video from the 1971 Winternationals. The tow car is a turquoise 68 Charger. Look at all the crew riding up sitting on the trunk lid. The back end sagged down pretty far. They took the starter out of the trunk of the Charger and fired up the funny car. Then they won the race against the Ramchargers car.

The commentator was saying they would bring many extra motors and use a new on every round if they needed to. This was not the normal way to race in 1971. Great video.

notice the yellow 71 Plymouth in the background of the first 2 photos! Looks like a flat hood.

I saw a charger tow car Roland was using in a video from OCIR. I think it was a redish orange colored car.

the 68 has got some nice meats, wonder what the back spacing is ... ;)
 
I would love to have one too. My mom and dads was kind of a green color more like this one. It would be really cool with a hemi swap or hell even a Jeep 4.0l 6 banger.
