Get your self a set of Arlen Sharp or Crane rockers if you can find them. am pretty sure Crane makes the rockers for everyone else. Crane is currently off the market. But will be back shortly. THey where bought by S & S machine. Make sure they are properly bushed.

hey Mike, try a search on Roller rockers on the site, there is a lot of past info posted.

i have absolutely no problems on the street with mine, and im pushing 600HP. not sure why they would be any less reliable than the steel .... if anything i would think you would be better off cause of the roller tips ...

i have heard of several people here in Sweden that they break because of marerialexhaustion "not sure about that word" after some thousands miles, and its a common problem, do they send the **** to us:rolling:

Also maybe try PRW,I worked at a performance warehouse and alot of customers were very happy with them, also they are like $300.

Aluminum has a finite fatigue life and will fail after a certain number of stress cycles... this is probably why many think that it's use on a rocker arm is not best for longer term use. Higher stress due to a higher lift cam will shorten the life even more. Steel will go almost forever due to it's very long fatique life. In my opinion the decision should be based more on this, and how long you want to run the engine with them in there, than anything else.

prw also makes steel rockers, available in several different ratios, and considering they are a company that really only makes rockers and they were the #1 selling at the warehouse and I worked in defects for 2 years and only saw one set come back for a chevy because of parts missin, because are stupid stockers decided to lose ****,and tape the box up,other than that no complaints that i know of,but whatever u go with make it steel and good luck!
