Roof rail weatherstripping fit

Thanks khryslerkid, I have the other weatherstripping order from Dixie Restoration.
Are those the Supersoft from Metro?

The ones I have from them have a thin piece of metal molded inside the leading edge. I haven't installed mine yet and I'm wondering how they are going to work out. Others that I have talked to said they worked fine.

I haven’t received the parts yet because the order isn’t all together! I’ve been concerned about the fit on the windlace and roofrail

The problem with the windlace is that the bulb diameter will possibly be too large. You will quite possibly have to do some tweaking on the doors to get them to shut properly without having to slam them shut. Just be aware of that situation. All of the windlace comes from Restoration Specialties out of Windber, PA. Restoration Specialties also stocks a roofrail seal that does not have the molded ends, but the profile is correct and we have sold it for years. I have yet to sell any of the Metro seals for the 62 to 63 cars, but have sold numerous sets of the 64 to 65 from Metro and they worked fine. Joe Suchy is the best person to inquire with on these particular applications as to what does and does not work.
