Hey guys, does anyone have a decent picture of a mounting bracket attached to the rear of a 69 b body. I hoping to fabricate a mount this weekend and am just trying to find the best area to mount to.

thanks

Hope these help.

The pieces I made bolt to where the bumper brackets would mount and are supported from underneath by two more bolts going to the subframe. These lower mounts are important because it keeps the tailpiece from flexing too much.

I made this myself, simple yet very effective & it spins on a dime!

The way my rotisserie was mounted was at a high point on the center of gravity, especially since this car is a convertible, hence no roof for upper weight making this set up not ideal. The fix was to attach 70lbs. worth of dumbells to the windshield frame to make up for the lack of the roof. Once the weight was added, this car could be turned with one hand and was steady, it must have been, it was on it for 8 years.

Do you know if you got much flex on the tail panel? I have mine mounted similar to yours on the rear, and am thinking about making brackets to go underneath the car as well, but they will be in the way for paint.
