My car has been at the shop since August, when I first purchased it, getting finishing touches done. The first thing they noticed was a caliber sticking on the front. Did complete brakes rotors bearings and calipers on front. Still sticking afterwords. Rubber lines dummies. So they replaced the rubber lines on the front, and all good. I asked them to inspect the back drums really good and replace rubber lines there too. They said back drums were good and there were no rubber lines in the back.

Another member in another thread posted that there are rubber lines in the back. I don’t want to hijack the OP thread so I am posting here and since I don’t have the car here to go look, can someone tell me if there are rubber lines in the back, and/or anywhere else. My goal is to replace any rubber and all rubber in the brake line system so I get rid of any other spots with potential contaminants that could foul the brakes again.

Is that the only one? Does it tee off from there? I thought to be the case, but when they told me it didn’t I thought it strange, but took his word for it. I was going to check the next time I was at the shop.

I'm baffled. Not sure how any automotive shop could say that. Maybe the person you spoke with was not " mechanically inclined"??

He was the owner, and does restoration work. In all fairness his expertise is body and paint. He does have a mechanic at the shop, but maybe he didn’t ask him and just assumed they didn’t, or maybe he looked where he thought they would be like they are on the front. The harder mechanical stuff he subs out to another Mopar guys shop who knows these cars like people on here do. My car has been over to his shop too.

I just texted him the pictures above and asked him to please check again.

You could eliminate the rear rubber line IF you replaced the shock absorbers with solid links!:) May ride a little rougher.
