Running brights makes all lights go out

I have 70 Super Bee & when I switch from dim headlights to brights all the lights on the vehicle will go out. It takes about 5-10 seconds when I switch over before everything goes black. Everything works when I switch back to dims. thanks

the built in breaker is being activated... there is some short or high load on the brights circuit

I say it’s the hi beam switch is bad. Check that it is not hanging up on the grommet and rug. Best to lift the rug off the switch and try it again.


If it was the breaker they would blink on and off as the breaker cools and heats up.

had both happen over the years.
