We need more guns thats for sure though. The guy killed in his office last week was also carrying a gun.
All you NRA goons should take notice of this... It doesnt matter who you are or what you are carrying. A gunman has the jump on you if he wants to.
This guy was a true American hero and now he is gone and for what ?!?!?
Pull your heads out. Arming every man woman and child only serves one purpose. Line the pockets of the most powerful lobby in congress. IT was/is never about personal safety with them but its easy to pull the wool over peoples eyes when you hide behind an ambiguous phrase and stir things up with hatred of minorities.

99ss There a time & place for that stuff, you really need to keep "that crap like that statement there, on the political forum", not here on a post on the guys unfortunate death & condolences... have some class & some respect, I'm sure he was an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment being a Special Foces Guy & served his country well, put his life on the line, protecting them rights, so people that disagree with them, could just sit & bitch about them on some obscure car forum, forcing exerting/spewing their 1st Amendment Rights on others...... RIP Chris, you served you country well...

The way I understand it is that he was "attempting" to help someone with PTSD. Which I see as a very honorable act. And I understand there are many different causes for PTSD. But Im not too sure going to a firing range is a good thing to do with someone with this problem. It could have brought out some bad memories for the shooter & he could have had flashbacks or something.

Cranky I'm with ya... I personally think it's a bunch of Main Steam Media exploitation... example; to quote that sicko Rob Emanuel, Pres. Obamas former Press Secretary & now Mayer of Chicago "never let a good tragedy go to waste", they just exploit it "in every way, they can", the main steam media almost never talks about any of the gang related, minority on minority crimes, drug related deaths & crimes from illegal guns or the "fast & furious" debacle of guns running at the border killing 100's at a minimum, if not thousands... Let alone any other "you know" all that crime that is "out of control" in all the larger inner-cities {like Chicago Murder Capitol USA or SF, Oakland, LA, Miami, Clevland, Cincinnati, Philly etc.}, but any slightest gun related crime, that is about a known person or child, is exploited for their Ideology & Anti Gun Agenda... That's just my opinion... RIP Kyle, thank you for your service, no matter how controversial it is &/or was...

I'm not saying the guy deserved it, not by any means - so please don't read more into this; but he was taking PTSD victims to a gun range. Just doesn't sound like a wise thing to do, especially considering who killed him and how.
