USC, San Diego residents & NFL Chargers fans, Patriots & Dolphins fans, NFL Hall of Famer's, has lost a once great man today, he was great man & a pillar in his community, did so many things for so many others, died today from apparent suicide, self inflicted gun shot wound to the chest... R.I.P. Junior Seau, you will be missed... My up-most condolences go out to his family, friends & the San Diego Community, he was so loved by...

R.I.P. Junior...

shot himself in the chest, eh? sounds oddly familiar...like former Bear dave duerson. he shot himself in the chest so his brain could be examined after he died because of the concussions throughout his career.

He always seemed like a good guy in interviews when he played for the Patriots. Bummer.

Yeah, truly a "Great" athelete. He was a plus for "US" Patriots fans, even though it was the twilight of his carreer. Sadly, suicide is a "Permanent soloution to a temporary problem". Still, in the year 2012, "WE" can't identify when a friend, celebrity or sports hero needs dire help.
Sad news.

I liked him until he ditched the Chargers using the fake retirement scheme so he could go play with the Patriots. Lost all respect for the guy after that.

Sometimes a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do.
I HAD to cheat once on an Air Force Test.

I have a hard time feeling too sorry, for too many S.D. Charger or N.E. Patriot's Fans...LOL.. Being a die hard Oakland Raiders fan, but Jr. was a class act in his day...

Budniks;
Yeah, those "Raiders" deserve better!
A damn good team with a great history, damn good fans and a piss poor owner with a Napolean complex hell-bent on destroying everything he touches!

Thanks

Thanks; Yep great history, I agree 1960-2003, not so much since... I was born & raised in the East Bay Area, a Raiders {& secondary Niners fan}, almost from birth, way before it was the cool, thug, ethnic &/or gang thing, to wear Black or Raiders stuff, they aren't real Raiders fans, just pretenders/posers, unfortunately that's what most NFL fans seem to see... Good Old Al Davis is gone now, "Just Rest In Peace Baby", He did allot for the game, in his early years, in the AFL & in the NFL & as an Scout, Coordinator, Coach, Commissioner, Personnel Mngr, Partner, Owner/GM, Maverick Rogue Owner, but went overboard in his last decade or so, but the team {my team still} is still going to struggle for a while... I fear... Oh well such is life...
