I have finally gotten my console back into my car and plugged wiring back (big 6 prong plug) but I don't have any console lights. There is another plug there; a 3 prong plug with an black, orange, and blue or purple wire and I don't have anything to plug it into. I'm thinking that it is the wiring for optional tach, but I'm not sure. On big plug I have power at pink wire, but shift indicator light and side console lights aren't working.
Also, on a wiring note. I changed all the light bulbs and I have one back up light working and one not and if I leave them on for a couple minutes, something clicks under the dash and the light goes out, so I'm assuming it is a relay. They are wired together, so I don't get it. I unplugged the socket assembly and hook to power and both work, so any suggestions??

First thing I would check for is a good ground..easy to check and simple to repair. You are probably correct on the small plug, especialy with those colors.
I wouldn't think you would have a relay for the back up lights but ya never know. What year is the car???

I don't have documentation on your year model console, but orange is almost universally (Mopar) dimmer controlled dash lighting.

Here is the wiring diagram for the dash and rear lights...

My car is a 1965 Satellite. I found my back up light problem in a bad ground for one of the lights. Still staying on for a few seconds and then going out with a click under the dash then if left alone they come back on. The lights sorta' studders before it goes out. Thanks for the time and answers.
About the console; I found the wiring diagram for a Belevedar, but they don't have a console. I haven't found a diagram for a Satellite with a console. Thanks again!
