Amazing how often that same parking lot is used for pictures and always comes with some "issues" !

anyone in the real world would know for $12500 your not buying that 69, about 5 years ago they tried to get me on Ebay. Almost bought a John Deer cup for $15000 There getting good at the game. BEWARE

my car was stolen over 33 years ago. Can I run the vin and if it pops up is it still mine? Stolen in 86 in Houston Texas

That has happened,If you have proof of ownership,it could be returned to you.

I would have to do alot of leg work.NY DMV and all ALLSTATE for records. 69 RT/SE 4 spd charger with AC. Registration was title long gone. It was my first car.

Absolutely.

The key is did you claim, and get the insurance money? If you did, and the car is recovered, the insurance company owns the car. If you didn’t claim, and you find it, call the cops, it’s yours.

no claim was young and dumb,I believe there was a police report done.

I told this story before. My friend bought a Sportster around 1971, it wasn't new, in fact it was old then. It had to be close to 20 years later, two detectives show up at his mothers house, which was the last address the bike was registered and are looking for my friend and the bike. His older brother answered the door and explained the whole story. No problems but the bike was impounded. Around 6 months maybe more I forget, he got the bike back but only because no prior owner could be found.....

yeahhhhh..who buys a minty 69 charger with no title,no keys !
a bill of sale with the Wrong numbers on it,
and hotwired for 3 grand and thinks they didnt just buy a stolen car??
buyer should be sitting right next to the thief in jail imo.

the owner is lucky this was a pair of incompetent thieves,
as my 70 got stolen and vanished off the face of the earth.
btw,the owner mentioned getting a gps tracker in his ride....
might be a good idea for some of yall as well?

It sucks getting ripped off, no matter what it is. My first car (truck) 1970 Ford Ranchero GT (302 cid, 4bl, 4spd) was stolen when I lived in El Paso. Filed a police report and to this date I have yet to get any clue to it's location, good chance it's on some freakin farm/ranch in Mexico beat all to ****. I had rebuilt just about everything and was in the process of saving up some dough for a paint job when it was stolen from in front of my house, never quite got over that...still have the keys.
