Interesting with only 1 feedback but it was a large costly item. That said, always have to be careful but he places a number with names to call. I didn't see any mispelled words like usual scams and they also welcome inspections, which is always a great idea. I'm not thinking scam but I'd go into this with eyes wide open and head on a swivel just in case!
I'm on the fence re scam or not..... The seller has only one previous Ebay transaction, and it was for selling a CASE backhoe located in New York, in January? (He's never, ever, purchased anything off of Ebay???) And now on the other side of the country he's trying to sell a 64 Plymouth in California? That alone is 'weird' enough for me to be very, very cautious if I were interested in the car.
Be very careful grasshopper.....it looks a little off to me.
It has a lot of ' titalating ' pieces of info which can blind the eager buyer.....I am pretty good at this as I've never been shafted and I live way over here..lol
The ad is not very well written and the pictures are awful. Still it could be legit, however id never get involved bidding on that car or having someone transport it. Its a bring a friend and a flatbed, cash deal. make sure the paper work is ok numbers on the registration match the car VIN type of thing
find out where it is. Pay in person after looking at it to see if represented properly. Bottom line is,from my experience of several years, NEVER buy sight unseen
You can win an auction and inform seller you will be bringing funds. If they claim the car is elsewhere and you can't see it....pass on the deal.
