I emailed scrarebird today and all they can tell me is that they are an old design. they refuse to tell me what parts are needed for these :angryfire:. Does anyone have any info on these? They look very similar to they ones they have on their site. I remember looking these up years ago and I remember that they were the same parts required but my memory is crap.

This is what my plates look like....

This is the info on the new ones they offer and a pic....

This pair of precision laser-cut, cold rolled steel brackets are used to convert your drum-brake equipped Mopar rear drum brakes to disc. This setup uses GM 1979-85 Cadillac Eldorado calipers and pads with the integral parking brake. These, along with 1982-87 Lincoln rear rotors (11-1/4") are as near as your closest NAPA or other parts house. These rotors are a composite rotor; ie stamped steel inner with cast iron vented brake surface. This allows the use of your OEM wheel studs. Our brackets feature 11 gauge formed steel centers so bearing preload remains the same as drum, no need for using "Green Bearings" or axle shimming. The brackets also have integral flex hose retainers - no flimsy zip ties or hose clamps to the axle housing.
These brackets will work with 8-3/4", Dana 60 and 8-14" rear axles. Will not work with "A" bodys unless springs are moved inboard 3/4" or more and have 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. This combination require 15" rims and will not fit the earlier two-piece axles.

Found my own answer after hours of searching the almighty internets.

92 Eldorado calipers
300m rotors that then need to be machined to fit the hub...

CANNON FODDER!!!

I got this email from Scarebird today. Hoping that they can figure it out because I would like to be 100% for sure what is needed to use these conversion brackets before I go and buy parts that might not work....I may have found the answer of what parts to buy but its from an old thread and they didnt seem certain about the parts even then. Its nice to have an explaination of "why" they would not tell me the parts instead of just telling me that those are "OLD". Makes sense now.

Richard,

Old kits are not supported as a result of computer system crash that lost data.

You have 2 options. Purchase new brackets at a reduced price or Wait for a few weeks to see if our engineer can resurrect old design.

Let us know your preference.

Cheers,
