My Mopar buddy needed a taillight for his DD Probe so he went to the junkyard last Friday and found this 67 Charger sitting in amongst all the late model stuff. So he and I got there bright and early Sat morning and whatever was useable got removed. So I got all the trim from the doors back (all very straight with NO dents/dings. There was no fender trim), both the windshield and rear window trim, the driver's side rocker panel trim in great condition, one front seat (no sign of the other one, both rear seats, the fold down buddy seat and rear console, a really nice instrument cluster that a PO very carefully cut off the heater/radio part (unknown why unless it was to access screws or something), headlight relays (but no power pack for the instrument lighting) and small odds and ends. We found a guy who worked there to hall everything back to the office and he said it was just brought out from the impound area early Friday morning after sitting there for several months while they tried to locate the previous owner. He said it had been sitting in a field rusting away for years - it was definitely rusty! Good thing we got there early Sat morning as several guys also stopped by looking pretty disappointed that we were already there. Snooze you lose! We might go back and grab the drip rail trim and maybe the trashed interior panels.

Better get the fenders and doors. Roof? Dash skeleton? A/C?

You can't see it in the pics but the fenders are totally junk and VERRRY rusty - same with the doors. The dash frame might be OK. It was a non-AC 383 4 barrel car but had a 383 2 barrel in it that looked like something inside the engine was trying to claw its way out of the oil pan. Even if we don't get back there (it's 105 miles from the house), I feel I did great on the parts.
