A great song, written by his friend, John Phillips of the Mamas & Papas. John named his daughter after Scott. John was at an "Oldies Car Show" I was at some years back, a really nice guy. R.I.P. Scott, I still live the summer of love everyday.

Inspired me to go to San Francisco in 1969!

Yeah, Budnicks, just think back to 1969 ...
Great music, (The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, The Hollies, Rascals, Birds etc etc etc) The Dodge Daytona was just released (mid-year). Hemis were ruling the streets BUT the 440 six pak was lurking in the back ground. Petty was driving for the Blue Oval camp, Ram Air IVs were loose on the streets and the gals were burning their Bras!

I was only 10 but it was very cool year if not for the dirty *** hippies all over the Bay Area, Yep 100% right on all accounts.... add the Motown, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, James Brown, Animals, Beach Boys & the 69-1/2 A12 RR 4406bbl or A12 Super Bee 440 Six Pack, my all time favorites...
