Let me know if this is better suited for a different forum. I'm looking for a specific car not to buy it but just to see what became of it. Can probably dig up pictures if it would help but wanted to give it a shot.

Car was my first car, a 15th birthday present from my father that we were going to fix up together. 3 years later & I was distracted by another car, this one was then sold. Here's the details I can think of now;

1969 Coronet 440 2 dr ht /6, auto on the column, a/c, missing front seats (had been bench), b3 blue w/ light blue interior & black vinyl top. Car was last seen in red oxide primer, trunk pan had been removed due to rust & the top of the passenger rear quarter had been cut out for replacement from a previous botched repair but the rest of the body was in decent shape. Car ran and would drive though interior, glass and gas tank had been removed. Also had a really ugly small diameter aftermarket chrome 3 spoke steering wheel & had some gnarly Keystone mags w/ snow tires when I last saw it.

It was sold in Lebanon, MO between 2003 & ?? to a guy that was supposedly taking it to California for restoration.

If this sounds familiar to anyone shoot me a PM and i'll try to dig up more details. Just looking for who ended up with it and hopefully see pics of it all fixed up!

I've never seen it...LOL... but Calif. is a really big place, SoCal or NorCal ??... Sorry, I couldn't resist... Do you have a Vin or License #'s available ??, that may help, if you really want to find it, I think you can still do a DMV registration search if you have the proper information, I think it's like $5-$10...

haha, I know it's a needle in the haystack but that's all I've got at the moment. I'll dig up some old pics & see if my father has any old registration info (though not sure it was ever registered/insured) to pull the VIN from. Can't imagine too many folks in California would pick up a non muscle version from all the way out in MO, but if it has changed hands since it's going to be tough. Thanks for the DMV search info, i'll look into that if I can come up with the VIN.
