I am hoping some one can help me with some questions on my seat belts. I have a 69 RR with bucket seats/console. I have lap seat belts only. My belts are bolted in without any kind of covers. So when not in use I just hang the outer ones on the floor along the door area and the inner ones I just lay on the passenger seat. I have to always watch real close and make sure I have the belt inside the car when shutting the door. Kind of a pain. What covers are supposed to be there? I am looking at classic industries catalog as a resource but not following which covers go with bucket lap belts. Would mine also be retractable? I was thinking retractable was only for the shoulder style. I also see a seat belt retaining clip for 68-69 in classic industries catalog. We’re these factory? If so, were do they mount? Lastly, what style of seat belt were on the 69 RR? I have push button not the lift latch. If someone could post some pics that would be great!
Thanks!

In the 69 roadrunner I did, You have clips up by the sun visors for the shoulder belts if equipped. The rear seats have clips that mount just under the front part of the seat bottom. As far as the front lap belt I have no idea. I just clip the passenger side together when not in use, and leave the driver side apart. As far as the rear seat clips I have never seen a set installed.

The front seat belt re-tractor mounts outside by the door. The long part with the buckle mounts down by the rear of the console. That might be your problem. Sounds like you have the re-tractor part by the console. Here is the link to the shop manual if you need it. MANUAL 69 PLYMOUTH VEHICLES section 23-111 is where the seat belt information starts.

I have the original set of seat belts out in my shed. They were the lift style latch. Not a push button. The outer front belts should be retract type and the inner ones should be the long part with the buckle. rear seats are shown in the Mopar bible I posted a link to.
