Hi all,
I've got a '71 Coronet sedan, and I also have a 60/40 bench out of a later B-body 2 door Fury. Obviously the newer seat tracks won't work, and the car previously had the full bench.
Would 71-74 bucket seat tracks bolt the 60/40 into my car? I've also read something about Omni/Horizon tracks or seats working in B-bodies. Since 71-74 bucket seat tracks are so hard to find, would Omni tracks work?
Thanks for any help.

G body tracks are designed totally differently than B body.

G body has a flat 2" leg at the back, arcing up to about 2" off the floor, and then making a 90* to a pad that allows bolts to be installed parralel to the floor in the front.

I've seen people hammer that fron pad out until the bolt holes are perpendicular...

Sorry, but that's the best description I can do.

5th Ave power 6 way driver's seat tracks work on 71-74 buckets.

(I should probably stop saying that, or there will be a run on those)

Thank you for your reply, it is very helpful. After doing further reading it seems people have put Omni buckets onto their B-body bucket tracks...
I'm apprehensive about putting power seat tracks into my car; this is gonna be a pretty stripped out deal when it's done. Would plain (non power) 5th Avenue (Diplomat, Gran Fury) tracks work?
Basically I just don't want to spend the 300+ on B-body bucket tracks when I don't know if they'll really work.
Thoughts?

It took me years to find the easier to find passenger side bucket seat tracks I needed for my 74 charger... lucky I had the drivers side. Friggin things are like gold or somethin!

I sure wish I would have known 5th ave bucket tracks would have worked when I needed em

I should quantify my search by saying years to find monitarily justifiable tracks! lol

What year is the Fury 60/40 seat from? I use 60/40 tracks from my '77 Charger parts car for the buckets in my '77 Cordoba and they worked fine.

Any power and non-power seat tracks that work on 68 to 70 B body seats?

I'm fairly positive the seats came out of a '76 Fury.
I think they changed the B floor pans between '74 and '75... and I *think* they continued to use the same buckets. So if a pair of, say, Cordoba buckets could bolt to earlier 71-74 tracks, the 60/40 bench should too, right?
All I know the is the '76 tracks will not fit the '71 floor pan.

I have a 6-way power seat assembly from when my Brother worked at a dealer...can't for the life of me remember what it was for. I think he had installed it in his '73 at one point. Good to know that there was a 6-way that will work for sure.
