I have a question in regards to seats. What are the different years of seats. Picture 1 has a head rest, picture 2 does not, picture 3 has different patterns.
What seats go on what years ? Apologies for not knowing.

Seats differ from model to year. I think the center seats are 70 Charger. The last seat is 69 Plymouth. If you go to classic industries and look at the legendary interiors catalog they show you what goes in what car. I may be wrong on the above seats but its was more for a description. As far as head rests they were optional. You could order with or without. Or even with only one.

The first two are 68 charger. With and without headrests. Third one is 69 charger.

The break over is anything after Jan. 1 1969 must have headrests, federal law. Optional prior to that.

1970 first high back all together seat or shall I say the head rest was built in and all one seat cover.

While we are on the subject. Has anyone added headrests to seats that never had them? I'm sure the seat frames were all made with the ability to add them. Maybe there is a kit out there to install them?

Well I'll be.. Google is sometimes worth a crap.
