My dad gave me a love of music and cars.. Every saturday night he would play his 45's ... from the 50's to the 60's... this was in the early 70's... Aerosmith Toys in the Attic was the first album I ever bought
Dad passed last year.

I'm of the class of 77' HS grad., Born in 59', but, I love the rock from my era, Aerosmith AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Hagar, Foreigner, Lenard Skinner, Van Hallen, etc. but I also love the classic 50's & 60's golden oldies too, my parents were really into "sock hop" music, my Pops was & still is a very good dancer, we listen to golden oldies allot.. I LOVE THEM ALL, but especially the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Elvis & the Supremes, but Marvin Gay, Temptations, James Brown or any other of the great "Motown" Hits too... Great cruising/driven music...

Beach boys are one of the best, I always had room for there music.. But Foreigner, Journey, Rush, Van Halen... Best of the best im my cars back in those days and still today, working on my car id get on Limewire and at night download music to burn on disks for the car when it was done.. Lime wire cant be used anymore, id like to add some but don't know if there's any programs out there to use thats, ah umm, free.. Like Limewire was.

Roadhouse

Sorry for your loss, 99ss. This song always reminds me of the finest B movie ever made: Roadhouse!

I did like the Big Foot truck & the 64-65 Rivieras, "I thought you would be much bigger", "Opinions will vary" {I use that one allot}, 2 great quotes from that movie, I don't know about the best B movie ever made, but it was OK, for the want-to-be crowd of bar bouncers... I was working at the "Saddle Rack" at nights to help a friend, thru a rough patch, I was there allot anyway, so what the hell, I got paid to be there, when that movie "Roadhouse" came out, it didn't help us guys who actually had to enforce the rules, be nice doesn't work, believe me, but they did get escorted to the door...

I forgot about Journey & Rush, how about a little Foghat {oops, correction "slow ride"} "Lowrider" I'm not a lowrider but I like the song, a little KISS, Molly Hatchet, Dr. Hook also... I don't know how to download a video, I've tried it never works properly...

Thanks, I don't see, how could anyone that is a car guy/gal not just love that music... I don't like the 413 S/S Dodge getten beaten by the the Vette, but the many car tunes from that era, are fantastic music... :headbang:
