I would like to replace my shift knob but am not entirely sure what the thread size is that I would need for a direct replacement?

I know there are some that are universal and only use a set screw to attach it to the shift arm, but I am more inclined to get a knob that is a direct replacement.

can you measure it? measure the OD, then count how many threads per inch. should get you in the ball park of a known thread size.

Yeah, that was the route I was going to take if nobody knew off the top of their head....I'll just measure, thanks.

I have a new Hurst shifter ball...3/8" standard threads.....

Cool, thanks....I do like the Hurst shift knobs, basic but still somewhat stylish. Better than a skull or 8-ball haha.

Being that my interior is black/gray now, I may even offset all that by getting a red shift knob.

My factory Hurst is 3/8-24 (fine thread).
