This is currently how I have TCI Cheetah shifter cable routed on my Charger. It exits the floor on passenger side, is routed over trans support, then turns towards drivers side and is routed under trans support. Everything is hooked up and shifter operates good. I installed this before I put the headers on and now that the headers are installed I'm having second thoughts on the over/under routing for the cable. I'm going to use an adel clamp to pull the cable away from the drivers side header. I will have 1.5 inch clearance from cable to header if I keep in current configuration. Would routing the cable under the trans mount on both passenger and drivers side be better? Is 1.5 inch enough distance between header and cable?? Your thoughts

Looks pretty good to me. I'd consider wrapping the cable with a little asbestos wrap.
