Dare, I just sent a pair a couple of months ago. Disassemble the backs from the bottoms and snug them into a box and send them via Greyhound Package Xpress. It was pretty damn cheap.

I used GreyHound and sent a set of buckets from Alabama to Baltimore MD insured for 400 bucks, and It cost 81 dollars. I unbolted the backs from the bottoms and packed everything in a large box.
