I haven't contacted them yet but I feel as if I got shafted on shipping from Mancini Racing. I made a very very small order. Just basic timing cover bolt set plus a simple oil pan bolt set. Total cost was $23.90 for the two set of bolts, not bad. But another $14.95 just to ship by UPS regular freight!!!! Come on, I know it cant possibly cost that much just to ship a few very small bolts. In the past I ordered new leaf springs from Mancini and the shipping cost was $58 but I could understand that cost because of the weight plus their length. Anyone else had any experiences like this from Mancini Racing? In the future I will not even look to them when checking prices, I learned my lesson.

In just responded to another thread about XV motorsports going under. I see little things like this shipping issue and can't help but think it may be a symptom to a bigger problem. Maybe not, but this economy is going to separate the weak from the strong. And jerking your customers around on shipping is a sure fire way to ruin a business

Rebel you are rite. I know its not a whole lot of money I feel that I lost but its kind of the principle to me I guess. I wasn't quoted a shipping cost until I received the invoice AFTER my parts shipped. I just figured with such a small order that the shipping shouldn't be over $6-$7 tops. Meanwhile I also had a very large order from Dantes on all my interior & received very GOOD service & I am very satisfied with their products & their shipping. I figure if Im going to rant on 1 supplier that I mite as well praise another.

Personally, I have purchased many parts from Mancini's over the past 20 years and can say they are top shelf! If I ever had a problem, I contacted them and it was straightened out. You should call them before making a negative post. I do understand you're not happy with the shipping, it does seem like too much.

As of Jan 2014, UPS has raised their rates. I get stuff from Phoenix to Sierra Vista that is usually $9.00 and up. Mancini might also add handling, but I am not sure. I charge customers what I am charged, and I am here to tell you that UPS/Fed Ex/ etc.. are CROOKS.

I ordered Hemi exhaust manifolds and a Hellwig sway bar from Classic Industries on Feb. 8, 2014 - it was two boxes, 84 lbs. and cost $33.90 to ship UPS to MN. Back in Nov. 2013 I ordered two 426 Ram Charger valve cover decals it came threw UPS and cost me $8.95 shipping, so I really don't understand how they figure stuff for shipping (thought it was strictly by size and weight) but I really don't know.

I also agree that Mancini charges more than they should for 'handling'. They are a great company imo except for this. I will say it has cost them my business in the past. 440 Source is another company that I think overcharges for shipping.

I usually wait until I have a large order to try saving on the shipping charges. I think they charge what UPS charges them? I entered my package info into UPS calculator and came up with $23.75? so maybe they are adding $5.00 for the packaging?
I just checked what I got from them yesterday, $375.65 in parts, plus $28.69 in shipping for a 5 lb box (10"x10"x6") and it says package 1 of 1?
I'm still short 3 items, one is a Dana60 differential cover which is larger than the box I received. They only show one box shipped, and the Invoice does not list the missing parts as backordered? I guess will be giving them a call too.

Dantes charged me 30 bucks to ship two big boxes with my front and rear seat covers , I thought that was fantastic.

Rock Auto is a shipping rip off too , a 12.00 accelerator cable and 3 dollar fuel filter and 18.00 in shipping. the cable doesnt even fit. I will never buy from them again.

don't get me started on year one LOL

this is the first ive heard about mancini have outrageous shipping

I got the shaft on shipping from mancini also bought a 402 oil pan $36.09 to Oregon ridiculous. We buy lots of mopar muscle parts but not from them any more. We ship every day and could of sent this for 20 to 22. Good company but stupid shipping charges. I wrote them complaining and got (that's what they charge us) BS.

$25.00 to ship a distributor drive gear to me from Mancini a few weeks ago.
I told them it will be my last purchase from them.
Out of all the vendors I've dealt with- it seems Summit Racing is the most reasonable on ship costs so far.

I was going to order an axle ratio tag from Roseville restoration parts. Shipping was $14.42 for just the tag. No way was I going to pay that.

Summit has free shipping on orders over $99!
I don't have a problem with Mancini shipping costs, they seem fair (not great, but reasonable?) I think it is costing them some business. I would order from them more if the shipping was less expensive.
This is the first time I have had an incomplete order. I'll find out tomorrow what happened?

Some company's use just one shipper( like UPS) for everything. Many times US postal Service is cheaper for the smaller- lighter parcels. When you order, ask what the total cost will be includeing the shipping. Handleing fees is just a way to tack on extra profit.....................MO

Hard to beat Summit for customer service, cost or speedy service. I bought a Mancin Billet thermostat housing at MATS show. Expensive and the best ever - no leaks.

Man this is a tough one to deal with, a real life burden on us for sure, I love Mancini they always have been good about having their parts I want. I do not like the fact that you don't know how much your shipping is until after you check out, a couple of times I have been surprised at he costs. but after getting the parts that was all forgotten. Probably because they do not spend a lot on the web site or have a professional company managing it so they could have a better secure check out system.

A lot of deals out there on eBay, summit jegs etc. but not all have it all.

I personally do not want to see the go away. they are too important not only to the history of mopar but to all the enthusiast and racers. I say call them see if they will help you out on your next purchase.

I have always received my parts quickly, and in good shape...
CC refunds are tough to get back......
& sometimes feel the guy on the "phone" talks down to me, and is arrogant.
......not like Brewer's Performance , whom verbally has on phone class:sunny:.

Been dealing with Mancini for over 30 years, can't comment on shipping I live close by and pick up my parts but as far as knowledgeable and friendly people they are #1.
