I have never heard of a shoddy pad.
In English, "shoddy" means less than ideal, substandard.
Is the definition different up there?

Lol yea shoddy does mean same here to but some reason they call it that

Its the firewall insulation under the dash

Here is mine from my 72 AC car, spent a lot of hours and searching trying to figure it out. Not sure if this helps.

i think i saw your pictures while googling them as well :)

is it still possible to take a picture on the left side underneath?

Looks good thank for the pics.

I wish I had that support bracket for my heater box. It sags a.bit. Is yours AC? Maybe that's why. My. Firewall was replaced and the metal is thinner.

I have that bracket with the OEM nuts (see pic below). Removed from a 1973 Plymouth Satellite.

$20.00 + shipping for all 3 pieces.

I would take it but my box doesn't have the spot fasten it to. Not all cars have the bracket I think it's for AC cars.

Okay thanks. To tell you the truth I don't think I've ever seen a 1971-74 B Body NON A/C heater box. Every 71-74 B Body I've owned or parted out had A/C. 1966-70 B Body different story, I've seen both.

Ya I did. I'm looking for fasteners for the hood insert. Superbee hood insert.

Do you have fasteners for the hood insert?

Yea they're a cup with a nut that goes on top I need both pieces complete set
