View attachment 25522My Superbee 005.jpgI have a 69 coronet 440 2 dr that I'm going to clone to a superbee I have just about everything to do that but now I'm thinking of getting rid of. I just had my toncils removed and both had Cancer in them and it is still in 1 of my lymph nodes. I will have to do chemo/radation and it will be a very bad 6 months or longer but it can be cured. I'm going to be just fine I have the Lord on my side but the question is should I sell my car or keep it ??? The car is in great condition and it only need trunk pan and 1/4 front floor pan where someone cut the floor for a 4sp and cut it up bad. The body and everything else is very good. Sometimes I want to keep it and other times sell it. I'm just asking for your thoughts??

Keep it, you are going to need goals, things to strive for, things to stay alive for, just in case things are harder than you first thought. Make restoring it your own reward to yourself for beating the cancer!

Very sorry to hear about your diagnosis, stay strong and keep the car, consider it a motivation to get better that much faster. I wish you the best.

I agree!

I can tell you have the will power to fight. Keep the car. Do it the way you want and enjoy the hell out of it. Stay strong. Good luck my friend.

Save it to when your feeling better on your quick recovery !

I agree with all of the above. Make a plan on what you want to do to the car. Set goals on various projects(motor, body work, paint, interior, etc.) and break down further to as small as removing rust from bolt heads or labeling baggies for parts. Keep as busy as your treatment allows. An idle mind is not good for any health condition. Get that project going now, so you can post your questions and we can help you thru the easy steps to take your mind off the difficult ones.

Keep the car brother!!!

Your cancer is not a death sentence ......Just a bump in the road, as the rest have said you'll need something to keep your spitits up. Next summer when the treatment is done and the car is finished you'll be glad you kept it.

Life is a journey not a destination and your love of Mopars is part of that journey, Be strong and good luck in what ever you decide!!!!

Keep your head up, Your going to beat it. Remember a strong mind will overcome anything.
Keep the car. As soon as you get a clean bill of health, you start on that project and make it perfect.
God bless, my prayers to you!

I agree with eveyone else. Keep it and use it to keep your mind off of other things. It will look awesome when you finish it.

I too am sorry to hear about your illness and I'll leave you with the following to help make up your own mind. I lost one testicle to cancer, and not feeling good about life in general, the first thing I did days after the operation (feeling sore and all) was go to the county office and register my fictitious business name. I had thoughts of going into business repairing turbomolecular pumps but that got side tracked with the cancer. From the moment I registered my name I felt that once I get over this cancer thing I'm going to make my mark in the turbo pump repair industry - and that I did. 12 yrs later I am one of the few shops in the country known for high quality work, and it's a small pond. Keeping faith in God is #1 and without it nothing is possible.

My best to you and your family.

Thanks all I know that I'll get over this bump in the road, thanks for the prayers and I'll need all I can get. I will keep the car I done some work already so might as well contuine on with it. Thanks again everyone

What do you need for the car? I'm sure a bunch of us can help you find needed parts......

Something my sister always reminds herself of is that SHE has cancer, the cancer doesn't have her.
