This is for sale on Newfoundland Classifieds. I was wondering if this is a good buy and will it fit on my 1966 383?

Hi,

One of the things that do "not" interchange between a 383 B and a 440 RB is the intake. The taller deck height is the reason.

No it won’t fit because the low deck engines did t get a 6 pack induction system, only the tall deck RB engines did. The cast iron intake is the give away to what it fits.

FWIW, Mancini Racing is selling B block 6 pack intakes.
MP suggests the small block carbs for that application. Though, really, it doesn’t matter because it comes down to jetting the carbs right.
