Skynard and ZZ Top are coming to town May 26th I was all pumped and was ready to buy tickets.I have seen both these bands before more than once. d ZZ Top is one of my favorite bands...The cheapest ticket is $241.00 dollars!!! Are you F**king crazy what the hell $482.00 for me and the wife.I guess these bands forgot about their fans, you know us common folk.Come on Billy Gibbons we are not all rich, more common folk out here in the real world..............................

That would be a great concert! But that is pretty pricey.

Yeah , I used to really enjoy going to concerts when I did not have a mortgage to pay..... LOL It's has got to the point that unless its an important event for you the prices have gotten out of hand.

It's amazing how much many of these bands charge for tickets! I guess that's why I don't go to concerts anymore. When I was in high School working part time, I could afford to go to a couple of concerts a month and even get a T-shirt.

Jeeze that's a bit steep!

I have heard of bands charging loads over in the States - hope it's not getting to be the rule rather than the exception.

Prices have been creeping up over here too over the last few years.

Bon Jovi charged over £200 ($320) for their shows at London's O2 Arena (20,000+ capacity) last year; thankfully that hasnt caught on yet.

I did pay £100 to see Aerosmith last summer at that same venue but only as I expected that would be the last chance to see them with Steven Tyler at the helm.

I'm seeing Journey/Foreigner/Styx at London's Wembley Arena (12,500 capacity) in June and somehow they've managed to keep the price to around £45 (approx $65), whereas Rush are charging over £70 with no support. A lot for one band, compared to Journey etc but cheap-as-chips compared to Bon Jovi.

Thankfully my days of wanting to see BJ live have long since passed....

I have no desire to spend that much money for a 1.5-2 hour concert. I don't go anymore either.

Foreigner and journey are playing at the PNC Arts center in nJ ,wonder how much those tickets would cost?

My ex g/f wanted to go to a Skynyrd concert at one of the casino's in town a couple years ago because her son got a ticket as a gift. It was only $75 per ticket, but for the show we saw it was a joke.

With all said and done, I paid over $200 for our tickets, parking, fees, etc. It still burns me when I think about the comment she made afterwards. She said, "that was worth it". Of course it was worth it to her, she didn't spend a dime!
