Hopefully someone can post this....
A buddy has an 82 Volvo wagon, 480k, one rebuild on the engine. It is getting to the point of either needing another rebuild or changing. A fairly common thing is to put in a small block ford or Chevy, but as he doesn't really want a v8, we started thinking slant six.
So, just to get started if it is feasible, I would like the height from motor mounts to top, depth, motor mount to bottom of pan. Length. Overall, and both ways from mounts. Same measurements with overdrive 4 speed.
The issue I am looking to solve is hood clearance, firewall, trans tunnel, etc.
