what do you all use for these? straight ones touch each other because of the slanted plugs. my motor has a terrible miss at idle but runs great going down the road. it just seems like it happens at idle, but once you give it some gas and get off idle it runs fine. i have changed carbs to a known good one and i get the same problem. i have changed distributor and coil to a known good one and same thing. the plugs look a tan color so they are running good. the timing is correct also. i figure it must be the wires at idle and once it's going it has enough voltage to not be jumping from each other at the plugs where they touch. i am going to start it at night when it is dark and see if it is jumping across each other. i thought i would get the 180 degree boot wires and that should keep them from touching. mine are accel and only have about 4k miles on them. they ran good when new. what do you all think?
