Well went to the track again. On my second run my gas pedal went to the floor and I was stranded on the middle of the track. What a lonely feeling!! My throttle cable came off the carb. I put a pin in it to get to the pits. On my third run at the end of the track my clutch pedal is hanging an inch off the floor. Tightened the clutch linkage and limped the 60 mile trip home.

Well I notice the next day that my z bar is sloppy on the bell housing. At this point, I suspect a broken driver side motor mount. Ordered a rebuild kit from Brewers for the z bar and Moroso solid motor mounts from JEGS.

Many labor hours later, and I have the new mount in. I added a steel spacer to help me tighten the bolt next to the oil dip stick. What a long and aggravating job. I need a flexible dip stick for the header clearence. Any ideas?

Now on to the z bar. I hope the ball studs and z bar a still good. Will post up dates.

Still ran a 13.9 @ 102 with a broken mount!
