I have 4 solid state instrument voltage regulators i made up. I posted these on Abodies as well. I can put either ring terminals or male spade connectors on them for your application.
Buyer will have to provide the white heat sink compound, and a finned heatsink. (Electronics supply or radio shack should have them) These regulators are designed to convert up to 35VDC to 5VDC output, so for a 12V application they are more than adequate.
Hook up is
Red 12V in
Yellow 5V out
Black negative ground
Chip mounting tab negative ground
A good mounting spot is right to the diecast gage housing as it is a ground point as well.
