Some Cool Roadrunner Decals

I was looking for some Roadrunner decals for the quarter windows, and I kept seeing the same decals over and over again. Then I found these on ebay. They are from a British company:

I thought they really look cool and different, and would look great on my car, but I didn't want the HEMI being on them. I contacted them and asked if they could make me a set without the HEMI wording and they said no problem. I then thought it would be cool to have 1974 on there as people are always asking me what year the car is, so I contacted them again and asked if I could have 1974 in place of HEMI and they said no problem again.

The price for two decals was around $11. The ebay auction number is 160736915519, and the seller is screenprintdigital if anyone is interested in getting a set made for their car.

Hope they can reverse the image for the other side of the car....

I ordered a set and asked them to put 1972 instead of HEMI, also asked that they reverse one image so the bird isn't looking to the back of the car. The woman wrote back with a " no problem" and said they'd just done a custom '1974' set for a very nice gentleman in Florida.

There is a lady here that will make custom decals for folks, A guy my son in law helps that rebuilds old GTO's gave it to me (her email).. She can make one from scratch whatever you want, or send her the decal and she re-works it. Its good to have someone that can do these things when someone needs/wants one different..

I got my decals in! I got them in about a week... not bad for custom decals made and shipped from England. What's also nice is instead of just putting the 1974 on using white letters, they used white letters with a purple border so it blends with the bird better. Very nice.

They say that they can reproduce any hard-to-find or out-of-print decal, so requests are welcome there. Ron, the lady you're talking about, she can take a decal design and both reproduce it and change it? Say, if I wanted the "standing bird" to be wearing a pair of Nikes and have blonde hair, she could do that?

(I wouldn't want a bird like that, it's just an example. )

Thats what im told, I wanted a decal i seen that had the coyote with his hands around the RR's neck and it says "Beep Beep my ***" I wanted it changed to Roadrunner my ***.. She told me she could do it, ill find her email and PM you with it if you want it.. First ill email her and ask if i can give it out, its only right and im sure she will say yes being she does it to make money, but i want to be sure. I cant leave it here because of the rules i don't want to be hunted down by Batman!

Thanks bigred. I was thinking of having a bird decal made up for the center of the power bulge on the hood. On the last 73 I had, I put the bird from a superbird wing decal on there. It was okay, but too small. I found a guy selling 69 roadrunner parts who has some nice roadrunner signs he bought years ago and one of them is a 22" tall bird with the helmet, but it's a different pose than usual. These guys might be able to help with that.

Fee free to ask for the lady (Beth) email if you want it, i cant just post it in hear or i would but i was givin permission to give it out, offer good for anyone wanting it to get some decals/stickers made up..
