Lotta work and engineering on that Nova.

not what I'd have done, but gotta respect the talent.

true...you had to see all the detail on the 51 chevy p/up truck. leather wrapped fender/quarters..and the brake/gas pedals are wrenches.

Wow, You really got some pictures of some great rides! Thanks for sharing.. real nice.

I admire all the work and time that went into that Nova, And i believe everyone should make it the way they like it, its there ride. But i never could understand wanting a old classic car and then turning into a modern day wonder inside. I see the interior modernized (customized) in a lot of these old cars, just my opinion, and as said it is there ride. I do respect also all that work, but i wouldn't do it, i like the way they looked when new and now old, the Nova never had a to fancy of a interior to me but again it did look like a car of the 60's.

I was looking at that Nova. I work in the custom car field and see a lot of "custom" interiors. From just what I see in the pics, whoever did that interior knew what they were doing. Look at the lines. All of them. They are straight as hell and flow from the first seam to the last. The only places I could pick on would be the lack of a cover under the column and not continuing the theme in the trunk. (It pulls the continuity apart when the trunk is open). Awesome job. Not my style, but I respect it.

Agreed, I just wonder why... To buy an old car and go to that amount of work seems to take the classic car out of the picture, but again, your car your way.. I just couldn't change it "myself" to the custom set up, i like the interior as it was and the 66-67 Nova sure were a little more fancy, as compared to the first Chevy 2 cars.. Great work but resembles little of the original interior.. Just isint my style either..

I wish there were more Mopars at the local shows around where I live.Seems all the Mopars have traveled to the north. About all you come across here is 55 Chevys,69 Cameros & ordinary Mustangs. There are a few Mopars but very few. Last local show I went to had approx. 75 cars but there were only 2 Mopars. So to get my thrills I come on this site.

That's why i am glad i crossed over to the pentastar! I have yet to see another 71-72 bbody yet. I know there are brothers on here from N.Jersey that have identical 71 GTX's. The problem i have is the majority of shows in NJ are about 1hr away via major hwys, and w/ 391 rear? that's screaming in the right lane.

I feel what your sayin Lowhound.. Its the same here by lake Erie, and to see the 71-74 It just doesn't happen. I never go to Erie to a car show but around here there is mostly Cameros, Chevelles or Mustangs.. Even buying and selling parts is hard. There is another member here that lives probably 30 miles or so from me and he told me that one ad paper we both use, him and I are the only ones with anything Mopar and i cant argue with him, being its the truth.. I know there out there but few and far i guess.. We have a all Mopar show not far from me but seems there really hasn't been anything there for the last couple years, I didn't go last summer but i was told it wasn't worth the trip.. Ive bought almost everything ive needed and sold everything right here with these guys.. Shipping may suck sometimes but ive found these guys here are the best to deal with! The same things ive bought here i tried to buy by putting a ad in the paper, noone at all.. I don't even try anymore i just buy from these guys.. One of the things i sold was a BB bell housing (1969) cleaned up and painted and not one call in over two months from ad's i put in.. sold it here to a member in no time at all..
