In the garage. Under the hood. Again.
Went to a sale today that had a number of Mopar goodies at good prices. Picked up a pair of Mopar/FelPro big-block head gaskets for 20 bones, and a nice 8 qt. bb pan as well. The guy(whose dad has a shop in the Detroit area) said that besides what he had, there's more coming. Here's what I remember seeing(and I'll try to remember the prices-I may be off a little;don't bust my balls, please):

Mr. Gasket Max Wedge intake gaskets($10 buck per package-he had five/six packages)
360 Magnum rocker gaskets
LA engine steel shim gaskets($20 bucks,I think...)
Various r&p sets for 8-3/4 and Dana(all 4.10 and larger)
Numerous Mopar Performance manuals for various engines.
Numerous Mopar Performance crew shirts and other apparel
M-1/Dominator intake

I couldn't stay long, but there were other goodies as well. I'm hoping to go back tomorrow, and I did get a business card. Oh;he also showed me a crossmember for a '64-5 Hemi car(it was tempting...)and shots of his own car-a '64 Savoy that runs 9's and pulls the front wheels a couple of feet up. Some of you may know him-good guy and a blast to talk with.

So,if you folks are looking for some things, maybe I can help get them for you. And...I'll sell them for what I pay for them plus whatever shipping is. Honesty is the best policy.

Cool! Can ya get a price on the gears. Any big block stock head gaskets...steel shim?

OK;I'm gonna try and get back over there tomorrow-it's about 25+ miles away from me. First;Cranky,no steel shims BB gaskets today. There was only a package of the 0.39" and they're in my possession now. I'll make a note and ask about them for you. As far as the gears,I know he had a 4.10 for a 742 case 8-3/4"(didn't get price or brand;I think Richmond),and I think the rest were for Dana(9-1/4"?). Like I said earlier;I got out there later than I had planned and had to cut my visit short. I already warned the gf that I'm planning on stopping there-we take a day a month to hit garage sales and tomorrow is it.

1badGTX;pretty much the same. I'm thinking One-fitty on the 4.10 for the 742 case, maybe less;I wasn't shopping for gears(still looking for a cheap aluminum dual-plane intake-cuz I'm a cheap @#$%),and he said he'd have more stuff tomorrow and next week.

I need to hit the lottery...

I'll post up what else I find tomorrow night for you folks.

Yeah al I know what you mean about the lottery..I want to build a stroker motor yet no money for parts..My flatscreen tv busted now I gota watch nascar on this stupid small tv in mono....But I really could use those gears!!I,ll figure that one out for sure!!
Petty Blue 67 GTX

OK;went back today, and grabbed an aluminum water pump housing for my 440,and as far as the ring and pinion sets;the 4.10 for a 742/8-3/4 is spoken for,but there was still a 4.56 for a 742 case and a 4.10 and 4.65 for a Dana. All Richmond pieces. They'll be open again next week,so I'll call and find out what else pops up.

Cranky;I asked about the steel shim gaskets, and he may have some next week. I'll let you know.
