what make and size was original for the spare tire for a 69 charger? Also will 235-60-15 in the front rub or do i have enough clearance to use, My friend says it won't rub but just checking with you guys also, Thanks

I've run 245/60/15's on a 7" rim with 4.25" backspacing on the front of several 69 B-bodies with no issues. So a 235 would fit no problem.

The spare size may have differed depending on the car/engine package. Hemi may have been a 15” whereas a base model would likely have been 14”. 205/75r14 or 215/70r14 would be fine for your spare.

A 235/60r15 will be fine on the front without rubbing if you have a “normal” offset wheel.

That information is on your Factory Service Manual.

I was running 235/60/15 on a 15x7 with 4 1/4 backspace no problem. I just switched to a 245/60/15 on a 15x8 with 4 1/2 backspace and no problem also.
