Spare tire size and brand question

I picked up an original spare(that is what the seller told me) for a 64/65 B body. It came out of a Canadian car. The tire is a 6.95/14 Silvertown dated 1964.

Could this be a correct tire(maybe different coming from a Canadian car?)

Never heard of a 6.95....probably a 7.00 14. A 6.50 14 would be kinda small for a well optioned B body but maybe someone else can shine a light on this.
