Ok , i went with the NGK-Vpower plug as suggested by quite a few on this site, now it has been awhile since I have replaced any plugs in my vehicles so what gap should plugs be set at, for my 440 HP 68 coronet.? Do they come preset at .035 and is this the setting I need? Any tips would help.

I always check out of the box plugs for gap. Never know how they were handled and have even found brand new plugs with the gap totally closed before. as for gap....is your ignition a stock setup? If so, .035 is usually the recommended setting.

If you are running any kind of aftermarket spark box, then go .045.
