Same here as Kiwi, read a lot of good things about the Densos too.
Saw this the other day for you NOS guys out there... http://www.ebay.com/itm/360592044741
I used champs in the beginning, until the headers got them hot and the ceramic cracked and caused mis firing, tried to work past it but in the end the champs just couldn't hold up in my motor so I got the NGK's now. If you motor is stock go with the champs. its what the factory used.
Gentlemen,
Which spark plugs are best is subjective. The plug's heat range is determined by operating combustion chamber temps with in a minimum temperature (fouling) or maximum temperature (preignition) AND thread length (reach).
After much experience and trial and error, my favorite for my RS23V0A******GTX, is EITHER Champion UJ-11G or Champion HO-8A. Both are small diameter center electrode (gold pladium or silver alloy) which require far less voltage to jump the gap under high compression pressure. Both plugs are NOT projected nose type. The conventional electrode allows for slightly more aggressive spark advance and total advance.
I have no feelings as to the other brands that were noted, this is just what works for me. These plugs can be found on eBay or at swap meets. To quote an old proverb: Caviet emptor!!
Cheers,
RJRENTON
