My speedo was jumping all over the place at low speeds it would steady out a bit at higher speeds but there was still some wobble of about 5 - 10 mph.
I bought a brand new Mopar replacement cable , installed and took it for a drive. It still jumps like crazy at low speeds and will steady out a bit btter at about 50-60 MPH ( according to the gauge) . There is a clicking sound as well when driving.
I am waiting for some decals to redo all my gauges, so i will be pulling out the cluster and completely disassemble it. What can I look for in the speedo? I read the cluster resto thread and it mentioned something about the brushes being shot , the gauge is pretty much garbage??? It doesn't explain at all how to check for this.
Thanks???
