I am putting a 727 transmission from a 71 Dodge into my 65 Coronet 440. It has a larger speedometer adapter plug and gear assembly than the A904 that I took out. Does anyone know where I can get the speedometer cable assembly or perhaps have one for sale?

I've seen a guy on ebay that sells at least a dozen different lengths. As long as the speedometer end is the same as in your '64 and the length is right (better a little long than a little short) you should find one that works

Contact Shannon at Redline Gauge Works. He has all the mopar speedo cables. Just give him the length and if both ends screw on or not. He has made many for me. The last was on my 64 Dart that I installed a 71 tranny.

Thanks PurpleBeeper, when I looked on Ebay, I did not find any that had the full gear and plug adapter that I need for the transmission I now have. I will look again.

Thanks, Darter6, I will look into this source.
