Hi
Trying to troubleshoot my speedometer issues. My transmission case (727) is a 66, but it’s got 71 guts in it. The cable is the 69 that came with the car. Is there a difference in early vs. later case 727 as far as the receiving end on the trans for the cable. I have a non-working speedometer and both sides are plugged/threaded on. Just starting process of figuring out.

'66 and later are the same for use with the '69 cable. Have you checked to see if the cable core is turning? If it isn't, the core could be broken or the drive pinion housing is clocked wrong for the pinion.

The old cable was Broken. Will call Mancini and get a new one. Thanks.
