Spherical bearings instead of bushings for leaf shackles?

Anyone know where to find these for a 67 B-body? From what I have read it looks like it would be a cheap and easy way to improve the street driving/cornering ability of my Coronet!

Opinions? Advice?

If no one can comment on them, what bushings and shackles would be a good choice then? Hotchkis?

I heard polyurethane squeak and still allow a lot of deflection so it won't tighten the handling to a noticeable degree in a 50 year old car.

I have had poly bushings (rear leafs) on my Fury since the late 80's and I've never heard them squeak. I have them on my Belvedere as well. There used to be solid aluminum bushings available for drag racing but I had heard that those did have a harsher ride on the street.

I can't wrap my head around what a spherical bearing would be or look like... like a ball joint?

I use the Hotchkis shackles with poly bushings and I hear no squeeking from them. They work great for me.

there needs to be some give in the suspension for a street car, we use bearings and heims in our race cars and driving them up and down the streets they feel like a rattle trap and over time something will give, either the bolt hole in the chassis mount will start to oval out or the bolt will get a grove in it and shear. ive had both happen. stick with poly bushings if it will be a street car. if u want even better handling, get rid of the leaf springs and go coil over with trailing arms
