I watched some videos on Youtube and decided to try to fix a dent in the grill of my 66 Belvedere. With none of the right tools, no buffing wheel and probably the wrong compound I went at it. Came out OK. I could have spent more time sanding before polishing but it was a trial run. Before and after pics attached. So now it looks like I'll have to do the complete grill, this time properly sanded and with a buffing wheel. Grill 1.jpgGrill 2.jpgGrill Before.jpg

You did a great job. You'll be amazed how well a buffing wheel will do. Takes a lot of the manual effort out of the process and polishes to a mirror finish.

The grille is aluminum, not stainless and also has a "bright dipping" from the factory to protect the aluminum underneath.

Looks good!!!!
