Ok I'm having a lot of problem I got a 70 coronet ran great. Has a mallory dist. A super coil junk 600 holley perf 440 intake. Then transmission went out. Rebuilt the 727 with parts from a&a shift kit from transgo and a local shop rebuild my converter yore the stall to 2200. Then I put a comp cam 224-4 new chain port and polished the heads and put headers on my 440. Same dist and intake and carb (building a new 750 now). Went from the super coil to a blaster 2 msd coil Wen Changeing all the stuff I found out my motor was 30 over with flat top pistons. My problem I have is wants to die as soon as put in gear unless I give it gas want to die at lights and sign but if rpms are up I can keep it alive. The linkage is right. Seemed to get better if I advace it more. So the other problems I have had a miss fire been getimg worse so wen I got home last nite car shut off and saw smoke and the duel blue wires melted together. Im also runing open header at the moment cause I just got it back on road. And the battery has been moved the truck now.
