Is this the splash shield you are looking for?

That is the splash shield that I'm looking for.

Starter splash shield found. Still looking for starter.

Auto Metal Direct (AMD) also reproduces the starter splash shield. I’ve used them nice piece.

Thanks, I did find a really clean, used, OE one, obviously I'll have to change the rubber in it, but the steel is really nice. Finding a correct starter is proving to be a challenge.

Are you trying to sneek some hemi starter in by pn, where people will chase thru their core pile? Or is there this exact part number on the snout or case of a reduction drive 'common' starter? Are we suppose to guess on a date code?

No, not a direct drive hemi starter, just a common gear reduction starter for a 440, the numbers will be stamped on the case. Sorry, I did forget the date. It's for a car with a scheduled build date of 2/25/70, so anything from 4 weeks to 4 months before that will work.

I believe Bolts, if I'm wrong hopefully someone will correct me.
