The starter relay on my 65 looks fairly new but I think it has a internal issue starting to act up intermittently.
All connections were checked and on starter also. It starts to turn over then starter kicks out partly and or slams in and out real quick while spinning like bad connection!
Does not do it often but is violent and will break the starter or tooth ferry will get ring gear or drive.
Who sells a Non China OE quality one?
Thanks Chris

Sounds like a starter issue not a relay.

Low voltage will do that too. I have had that issue in the spring before I charged the battery up after setting over the winter.

I made a mantenience on my factory relay before get a new one. Cleaned up the points with a sand paper. Last time was still working flawlessly.

Sad to say...
But many of the universal starter relays built in China are junko..
There are still sources for the mopar OE parts, I went to 1 car parts
swap meet and 1 guy had about 20 of the mopar OE parts selling for $12 eaach.
He actually bought them through some miltary liquidation sales they
had at one of the nearby airforce bases they were closing. Apparently the air force
used alot of Dodge trucks that had the same starter relay part.

Just my $0.02...

If the 65 is like the 64, it should have the old style 2 straps for bolts.

Failing battery cables also, just a thought.
