Starter shield

On 69 B-bodys and others was this left side starter shield used on manual transmissions or was it automatic only?

The majority say it was mostly on automatics and only shows up on the odd 4 gear... wasn't one on my Bee and I know where it's been all it's life.

Thanks. I searched it a different way and found some blogs that pretty much same as what you did. My car was an auto originally but is a 5 speed now. I have it all detailed and ready to go on but I think I will leave it off. I believe it looks better without it.

If you get tired of looking at it laying in your garage my car needs one!

I just listed it for sale. Its powder coated black and has a new rubber shield stapled to it.
